Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers, hand-bound in genuine leather by LeatheredLines. Becky Chambers's 2018 Wayfarers novel is set among the Exodus Fleet, the great homesteader ships that carried humanity away from a ruined Earth. Through the lives of several people, a young apprentice, an archivist, a caretaker of the dead and a visiting alien, it explores community, tradition and what it means to find one's place.
About this leather-bound edition
We cover every book in genuine leather by hand, finishing the spine with gold-tone foil titling and decorative tooling in the tradition of fine library bindings. Because each copy is made individually, small variations in leather grain and colour are a natural sign of handwork.
The thickness and weight of the finished book depend on the length of this particular title. Longer works make a noticeably thicker volume, while shorter works are slimmer.
